Okay now some stuff on the humans in the family. Dan has been working rather hard these past few weeks. He was gone Monday through Friday last week in Merida, Mexico. They had a lot of struggles since the temple president didn't advise anyone to get them the proper compress for their shears. Thus they had to go to shows in Mexico looking for the right size compress. Of course they didn't know english and Dan doesn't know a whole lot of Spanish. Things eventually worked out and they got the job finished. It was really hard having him gone because we couldn't text or call due to the high prices of international call/text. I also had a lot of paranoia/anxiety issues about the house and possessions while I was gone at work. I purchased a home security system so that I could be a bit more comfortable. Anyways I was really glad to have Dan back home. I sleep SOOOOOOOOO much better with him home. However, he left again on Wednesday for Ogden. They decided to stay in a hotel so that they could work longer hours and save on gas with the travels. Having a house alarm made this trip easier as well as the ability to text/call each other. I'm glad to have him home again but he is leaving next week for Provo. Which is funny because it is the same floor pattern and designs but in a different location. Well that's all for Dan. Me, um I've been working and trying to take care of the ferrets. They are quite the high maintenance pets. It's a bit ridiculous at times but I love them!!!!

These are just the leftover pictures. They're still just as great but I figured it was best to just clump them all together.

This is what it looks like when ferrets help mommy with the dishes:
Schizo in his sleeper tent licking his nose after a big yawn
Suki sleeping in the typical ferret position. However I was able to move the bag around her without her waking up. She does what is known as "dead ferret" where they sleep so soundly you think they're dead.
Klepto playing with the new toy. It's actually a cat toy but since ferrets like carpet and balls on the end of a string it works.
Klepto sleeping with his head on the shelf. Once again standard ferret position. This is the only time I've ever seen him sleeping with his tongue out.

SInce it is the summer time we're trying really hard to keep the ferret room cooled off. Thus I decided it would probably help if we put ice cubes in their water. They love it!!! Klepto actually thinks ice cubes are toys. He scoops them out and then he pushes them around with his nose. He'll even push them down the 4 ramps and out the cage. Here is the pics of him all wet from the ice. We like to call him the elusive ice otter, lol.

Ferrets don't need to be bathed very often. In-fact, frequent bathing can cause them to produce more oils and in turn more scent. However, little Suki some how manages to get her feet super dirty. She slides her feet through the liter pan and gets her legs dirty. Therefore I had to give her a bath. She ends up getting a lot of them because of her dirty little feet. Her nickname is Princess Dirty Feet. They all seem to hate swimming except for Suki. She likes to swim around for a bit. Here are the pictures of our little girl swimming!!!

Sorry about the red eye. I apparently didn't fix that before uploading them into photobucket. See she is our little white otter!!!

Sorry, no new posts.... We are rather lame and even if we do have something eventful I just can't seem to get the energy to post the events. Maybe I'll have enough energy tomorrow to post some pics of the ferrets and give some kind of update. Sorry!!!!!!!!
