Going to bed at 3 am caused quite a rough morning. Dan got a call from his boss (dad) at 8 am telling dan that he would be over at 9 am to pick him up. They needed to go to the Provo temple to get plans set for the renovations of the carpet. It was impossible for either of us to roll our butts out of the bed. Dan came back home around noon and I was finishing up the ferret room. The ferret room has to be cleaned every week and it is a huge huge task. Not only is it a whole room and every crack has to be clean just to make sure it isn't harboring any smell, but the ferrets LOVE to be helpful. That room also seems to get the least amount of cold air from the ac, so it is always rather hot. The ferrets feel that the vacuum is their arch nemesis. I vacuum and they spend the whole time "war dancing" around it and trying to bite it.
We then drove down to the shop to pick up Dan's car. $1400 later and he has new tires and a working air conditioner. However we had to leave my car there so that they could replace the clutch cable. We barely made it to the shop since it was pretty much refusing to shift at all. Ugh I hate old cars.
Schizo went on a walk after we got home. He loved it. He really enjoys exploring and digging. He also will just randomly take off and start running. A lot of people in the neighborhood think it is adorable to see a little ferret with a harness and leash. Schizo gets all poofy while on walks because he is so excited. He gets what is affectionally referred to as a "bottle brush tail." Well I'm back to work tomorrow. Ugh I'm always so dang tired, I never feel physically prepared for work.
